at sixteen i told myself by my mid-twenties i wanted to have a career and be married with two children. now, at twenty five, i'm just praying my card isn't declined at target.

Grateful AF

Twenty-seven arrived today. I greeted her with some sun salutations, my morning devotional, and a morning workout. Now I'm sitting down eating a greek yogurt with bananas and granola while talking to my sister on the phone. Things have changed.

Don't be fooled though in t-minus six hours I'll be drunk in someone's bar crying on my friends' shoulders. It happens. My father called me and asked where the last 27 years went. I have no clue, yet I know I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be.

I actually am #blessed. As cliche as it is, I have to say it. That's all.

This is just another millennial moment.
